USTA Team Tennis sponsored by GOWTL, popularly known as "Day-League", provides a league system for the promotion of competitive women's tennis. Maximum participation, improvement of skills, good competition, good sportsmanship and enjoyment of the game of tennis is encouraged by this organization. Divisions within this organization are based on NTRP (National Tennis Rating Program) ratings at the following levels: 2.5/3.0; 3.5; 4.0; and 4.5/5.0. Play begins each year in September and the length of the season is determined by the number of teams in each division, typically the season ends around the beginning of May. Currently, the 2.5/3.0 Division plays on Wednesday mornings; the 3.5 Division plays on Thursday mornings; the 4.0 and 4.5/5.0 Divisions play on Tuesday mornings.
