The Gainesville Area Community Tennis Association, Inc. promotes, encourages and fosters the development and growth of the sport of tennis at both the junior and adult levels in the Alachua County area. We promote tennis in Alachua County as a means of healthful recreation and physical fitness for persons of all ages and we provide an opportunity to learn and engage in a wholesome, lifetime sport and recreational acitvity. The Gainesville Area Community Tennis Association, Inc. will work to foster the development of public facilities and events to achieve this purpose and will provide opportunities for healthy social, emotional and educational development of young persons through peer encounters in athletics and through family participation.
